I am after a brother embroidery only machine, i also need the software with this, PE DESIGN 7 or PE DESIGN LITE, obviously the lite is alot less expensive, i want to produce my own designs but dont want to pay for somthing i do not need, has any1 any experience of these packages, also as ive been searchin for the software ive found various sites you can download them for free, however im under the impression you need the brother card reader/writer and you can only buy this with the software? has anyone any advice! Brother embroidery machines are actually both. Sewing and embroidery. This is something you want, so you don’t have to invest in two machines. the UL2001 have a disk drive you can transfer designs to the machine. Its a great machine. I own one. The other one I own is the 8500, and for this one you do need the card reader/writer since its the only way you can get the designs to the machine. Ebay will be your best bet to find the software. I really do not use my 8500 since its a lot easier to transfer designs using my disk drive. Hope this helped

The band was formed on March 26 1969 and its members were Gregg Allman who did vocals and played the organ, Duane Allman lead guitar and rhythm guitar, Berry Oakley played bass, Butch Trucks and Jai Johanny Johanson played the drums. The main Allman brothers Gregg and Duane were first part of a garage band known as the Escorts, afterwards Allman Joys and Hourglass. They gained a lot of musical expertise and experience while playing for these bands. The Allman Brothers band played at numerous shows and parties before releasing their first debut album as a band.
The album was titled The Allman Brothers band and went on to receive good reviews from critics and audiences. Although the album did not garner a lot of fans but one of their singles titled Dreams. In the 1970s they released their second album titled Idlewild South that was produced by Tom Dowd and was a more successful album for them then their previous venture. Besides receiving critical acclaim for their album this time around the audiences also appreciated the type of songs that they were making that were short and more interesting for radio listeners. The band released a live album titled At Fillmore East.
They were the last band to play at Fillmore East before its closing and said that the experience was one of the best of their lives. October 29 1971 was a very tragic day for the band as their leader, brother and friend died in a motorcycle accident. Their live album reached the gold status. The band decided to continue even though they had suffered a huge loss but after some time they decided to add another instrument to the band to create a unique sound. That instrument was a piano and the pianists name was Chuck Leavell.
Tragedy struck yet again as another member of the band Berry Oakley died on November 11 1972 due to a motorcycle accident not far from the place where Duane originally died. Before their next album released they hired the services of Lamar Williams at the end of 1972. Their next album was titled Brothers and Sisters and released in 1973. They toured and performed at many shows. Their popularity reached new heights and audiences all around really started appreciating their music. But afterwards due to many problems and conflicts many of the band members such left and began solo career. This was the start of many of the problems that the band would face. They separated in 1979 due to many financial and other problems.
The Allman Brothers reunited in 1989 and started touring again. The American public really appreciated their music at the time and they again started a successful comeback. The band has been called the main architects of Southern Rock. In the 1970s The Rolling Stones Magazine hailed them as the best rock and roll band in five years! The band has had five platinum and seven gold albums till the year 2005, this states how successful they were. They are ranked fifty second in the Rolling Stones 100 greatest Artists of All time!

The leaders of this revolution are Brother, and the broom with which they’ve swept away the old ways is direct to garment printing, otherwise known as digital garment printing.
Printers of a revolting inclination in the US have been using direct to garment printing for several years. They have found the quality of their garments improved and their costs reduced. Brother Mfc-8820D – All The Features, But Slow
What is there to say about the Brother MFC-8820D? It’s like a person with an eating problem; it’s half as fast and twice as heavy as others. Oddly enough, other than its slow print speed and robust weight, it comes complete with all the high performing features of other Brother printers in the line, some of them being quite outstanding. It makes you wonder why the print speed is toned way down to a mere 17 pages per minute.
17 pages per minute print speed, and equal copy speed, is plenty of performance power for a home inkjet or laser, and, realistically, probably most small offices. The problem is, when shelling out the money for a business grade multifunction center, the additional cost should make for an outstanding all around unit. Time is money, and when purchasing a unit intended for thousands of pages of output a month (up to 20,000 pages maximum monthly duty cycle for the MFC-8820D), those seconds add up. As for the seemingly unnecessary forty pound unit weight? I suppose some people just like it heavy.
The print resolution, on the other hand, is top notch, running at a clean 2400 X 600 dots per inch. The fax speed is also great, thanks to the 33.6 K per second built in modem, sending and receiving data at a cool 2 seconds per page, or 30 pages a minute. The ample 32 MBs of built in memory can store up to 300 stations for auto dialing, and the unit can broadcast to up to 390 locations in a single fax. Other features include fax forwarding, fax Paging, remote retrieval, and a very useful duplex fax mode which make the MFC-8820D’s faxing capabilities, well, top of the line.
Other than the output speed, the copier is also professional grade, with a resolution of 600 X 600 dots per inch your copies will churn out slowly, but clean. Using the duplex feature, you can automatically make double sided copies, which is a great money saver when it comes to paper costs, and also creates professional looking two sided documents and media. The zoom range is from 25 % to 400 %, which allows you to operate in a two, or four in one mode, outputting up to four sheets onto a single piece, or poster mode, in which you can blow up graphics or text up to 4X onto multiple sheets of paper.
The paper handling, though relatively slow, is otherwise highly functional. Brother often implements its250 sheet standard tray, 50 sheet multi purpose tray, and 250 sheet additional optional traycapacities, and this unit is no exception, bringing the total possible input paper capacity to 550 sheets. The 150 sheet output tray and large 50 sheet automatic document feeder are also par for the course in a medium grade professional machine.
Ultimately, this Brother performs much like all its brothers and sisters and is equal in many ways, it just seems for some reason to be the fat kid in the bunch, but, if print speed and footprint size are not your top priorities, then the Brother MFC-8820D should serve you quite nicely.

We were also wondering if these printers print photos in photo paper, which is one of the main features we’re looking for, besides saving money on ink. The best thing I’ve seen out there is the Brother MFC-9840CDW.
