What electric guitar would be best for me?
okay, i had my guitar for about 4 months now. i have been playing guitar for almost a year. this is my current electric guitar http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-Stop-Dreaming-Start-Playing-SE-Special-Strat-Pack-With-Squier-SP-10-Amp-104486238-i1177837.gc . i was wondering if i should get a new electric guitar because, i want a new one, or if i should just wait, because my family is running out of money, and we are paying for lessons and stuff. and if i should get a new one, what should i get? what is a good guitar (electric) under 400 dollars. i play different types of music. from jonas brothers, to beatles, to ozzy osbourne. and i don’t want a strat. probably a les paul. and will last for a couple of years? or should i save up for a gibson melody maker? help me? i don’t know what to get!!
With economy, and the market situation. I’d say wait until your family starts getting money again. Because now is not the best time to make investments in anything, really.
Any guitar will last you decades if you take very good care of it.
For $400…. I don’t know, there’s not anything that good you can get for $400.
An Epiphone Les Paul is not the way to go with that budget. If you want a les paul, start saving up for at least a Black Beauty. Because the $300 epiphone’s sounds like… well… Crap.
Honestly, the best advice I can give you, is just save up. Save until you get about $1000 and then go spend it on a nice guitar.
But I guess if you really want a new one, your best bet will be a Squier Jagmaster. Because any jagmaster is pretty good, even the cheap ones have decent tone.
But like I said, I think you should just save up. And then when the market goes back up, the guitar business will be booming again.
