What is the best sewing machine for the best price?
I want to buy a sewing machine and i was looking at one that is at walmart- Brother 50-Stitch Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine, CE5500PRW- does anyone have an opinion on sewing machines? any help would be great!! thanks!
this one is $150
If you already know how to use a sewing machine, this one would be a good one to purchase.
There are a lot of decorative stitching on this model and if you are into quilting and applique, then this would be a plus.
If you want to make clothing, this one is satisfactory – I prefer a sewing machine that has an adjustable blind hem feature so I can decide how wide and how long I want the hem stitch to be.
If you do not know how to use a sewing machine, then a sewing machine dealer is where you need to shop. Tell them straight up how much you have to spend and what kind of sewing you want to do.
With any new-to-you sewing machine, open the manual and lay it right next to the machine.
Read and apply each step of every feature the machine offers and you will quickly learn the machine.
This applies no matter how experienced one is in using a sewing machine.
PS: Walmart has the best price.
