What are the upgrades for a ULT 2001 brother sewing machine?
I need to use the PE Design box, but only have USB ports on my Laptop. I bought an appropriate plug but, there isn’t a printer port to attach the security device to and the program won’t open on my laptop. How do I get around this dilemma without spending a fortune to use my PE Design software to create original designs? Any suggestions?
If you aren’t actually doing your own digitizing and just using it to get the designs to your computer, you could go with the Ultimate Box. The newer one uses the USB to connect to the computer.
If you are doing your own digitizing, you will probably need to upgrade to the newer version of PE-Design box but it’s a lot more expensive option. The problem with PE-Design (and most other digitizing software) is that they didn’t anticipate that serial and parallel ports would bite the dust. My understanding is that the new version works with USB.
