Grainny Viewfinder Samsung GX-1S (pentax *ist DS2) question?
hi, I bought a Samsung GX-1S dSLR recently. When I look thru the viewfinder to take a picture, what I see like grainy. Lets say I look at a white wall with the viewfinder, it looks like wall has (High ISO) dots all over. Like a mesh maybe….. Those dots or grainy things, they don’t move. They stay at the same location. It looks just like hi iso dots.
Pictures come out good. Its only when u look thru the viewfinder. Photos have no signs on those dots.
I checked and the mirror is clean. Also the eye piece is clean. It seems like something on the thing right above the mirror. (where the focus marks are at)
If any one knows anything about this problem or any way to clean it, any help would me well appreciated.
As long as the images you shoot are not “grainy” (actually noisy), you have nothing to worry about. Some focusing screens just look that way so, it is NOT a problem.
If you want to know more about the focusing screen, call Samsung and ask them about it.
