can I uses a pentax af280t flash on my k10d ?
does anyone know if this can be used on a k10d camera I am trying to get it

There is a good chance that it is NOT suppose to work with the K10D.
Don’t keep trying, as if it is not electronically compatible, you just might fry the internal workings of your camera. Take your camera and flash into a camera repair store and ask to speak to the technician. He will know if that flash will work with your camera. He will also know if there is something wrong with the flash.
I have a Canon digital that does not accept just any Canon flash, but I can get an adapter for the camera that will allow me to use the flash.
Check with the technician and get the correct answer from the professional that knows.
