if so what are features?
I mean apart from the sony cameras coming out with 15x zoom.
when will Nikon, Canon, pentax and fujifilm release new superzoom cameras?
ok guys thanks for your answers, but i want to know of cameras which have not yet been released eg. the sony h7 and h9. I already know the recent releases.
ok bob. but what if I can’t afford an SLR, don’t want to lug one(with many lenses around for zoom) around. Moreover I thought that SLRs are meant to be difficult and complex to operate.
I can buy a canon S3 IS for 400AUD or a panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 for 500AUD. what digital SLR will compare pricewise.
Super zooms are great! but their is a down side to them, the f/ stops are very slow, that means you will need a lot of light on the subject to make them look half way decent, the other bad side is that you will have a lot of blurry photo’s because of slow shutter speeds and you will have a lot of digital noise because of it, I would stay away from super zooms because of this!
