APS-C. Advice on lenses ?
i’ve been using a 50mm lens on my film camera (pentax ME super) and have been wanting to get the same focal length for my canon 30d.
After looking at the sigma 50mm f/1.4 and the canon equiv. i came across a review saying how cameras with aps-c sensors such as my 30d will not give me the same angle of view as experienced with my 50mm lens on my film camera.?
Is this true? if so, what focal length would i need to replicate my experience with film camera?
is there a lens that you would advice me getting for a walk-about ‘normal’ lens?
currently looking at the canon 35mm f2 and the 28mm f1.8, but reviews don’t seem to be so good.

To get the equivalent focal length on the 30D, you multiply by 1.6.
