how to remove stubborn tamron lens?
i have my tamron lens for my pentax zx-60.. of course i have read the manual and did what i was supposed to do. i’m supposed to simultaneously hold down a button and twist the camera counterclockwise. but the lens just won’t get off the body! i’m kinda scared to force and twist it. and the annoying thing is that the focus thingy in the lens is the one that keeps turning,not the whole lens. what am i doing wrong? maybe my hands are in the wrong place?? which part of the lens do i have to twist exactly??

Since you read the manual, I will assume you’re pressing the right button.
The lens locking pin might be jammed. Try pressing the lens release button down fully, then twisting the lens back and forth to try to free the pin, then repeat a few times. Also try pressing the release button while in the process of twisting the lens back and forth.
The AF screw driveshaft might be jammed. Try auto-focusing on a few random items, then try removing the lens again.
If that doesn’t work:
Is this Tamron lens an old manual focus lens? If so, it might have been made for both Ricoh and Pentax. If it was made after Ricoh updated their mount to accommodate auto-exposure (which they did before Pentax did, and did differently than Pentax did), but before Pentax updated their mount to accomodate auto-focus, then the lens pin for the Ricoh auto-exposure may be jammed into the Pentax body’s auto-focus pin hole.
In that case you might need a pro to remove it. If you think that might be the case, I would start over with a new question here, including the exact model of lens.
