Brother Digital Copier

Brother Digital Copier

Copystar Cs-1810 – 18 Cpm Desktop Copy Machine

The Copystar CS-1810 is the big brother to its sister model, the Copystar CS-1510. It comes with many of the versatile, all digital features that made its counterpart popular, plus a range of powerful, and impressive improvements in the areas of speed, and hardware functionality, along with an optional networking add on.

The Copystar CS-1510 is very limited, like all models with the same deficiency, by a lack of a high capacity automatic document feeder. The Copystar CS-1810 remedies this problem with a hefty 30 sheet automatic document feeder, making the unit infinitely more valuable to the workgroup that requires large, multiple sheet copy projects, as opposed to simple, one time copies. Interestingly, the Copystar CS-1510 was included with an ADF of its own, but with only a single sheet capacity. The Copystar CS-1810 adds a paper tray, which is what, in part, boosts its weight up from 55 pounds, to an even more cumbersome 59.5 pounds.

Another key addition that assists the Copystar CS-1810 in competing with the usefulness and speed of today’s popular multifunctional units is its increase in output speed, raising the bar from a decent 15 copies per minute, to a competitive 18 copies per minute for letter sized paper. Legal sized copy speed has also been increased to a rapid 15 copier per minute.

When dealing with either large amounts of input, or massive single copy outputs (up to 99 continuously at one time), even a seemingly slight increase in speed can drastically cut down on overall project time, The automatic document feeder is also compatible with undersized paper sources, as small as 5.5” x 8”, unfortunately, when using the ADF, copy time will also be reduced down to 15 pages per minute, letter sized.

An optional network printing addition can allow the Copystar CS-1810 to function not only as a copy machine, but as a network printer as well, ushering the copier into the realm of the truly multifunctional unit. Unfortunately, the addition must strictly be purchased separately, and it would be difficult to find one on today’s market. Still, if an additional printer function would be beneficial for a workload with an existing Copystar CS-1810, the add on may be worth tracking down.

Paper handling is fully automated thanks to an automatic switching mode that can select between two large paper sources. A 250 sheet drawer style paper tray can automatically load half a ream of paper with weight up to 21lbs. Additionally, a 50 sheet multi purpose tray is available for thicker media types, or non standard paper widths, making custom letterhead, greeting cards, and transparencies all possibilities for copy output material.

Imaging modes help to maximize output quality when juggling between standard text input and graphical imagery. Selectable modes include text, photo, text/photo, a manual mode for personal adjustments, and even an ECO mode, ensuring that, no matter what you’re input source, you will be sure exposure problems will rarely arise.

The Copystar CS-1810 has been around for some years, but with its raw power, and comprehensive digital features, it is still a reasonable desktop option for a small business.

Pentax Wpi

I’m looking into getting an outdoor camera.?

So i have it narrowed down to these two: olympus stylus tough 8000 vs Pentax Optio WPi.
The problem is alot of reviews show that the Olympus takes blury pics, i do want a rugged camera but not at the expence of photo quality, thats where i think the pentax comes in and is the direction i am leaning, i think the real question is. Does anyone out there know of a better model that takes superior quality photos, can get a lil dinged up, and hold the same compact…ness?

There is another Optio model that is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. Glass quality is surely great as it’s a Pentax. It’s all up to you now to take superior quality photos.

“WATERPROOF” compact digital cameras — who makes the best one?

I know this is a tough call but I was looking at a Canon D10, then found out about the Pentax W90 which seems to exceed it technologically – 720p HD video, etc. My most important consideration is image quality but Pentax is on its 11th generation of these things – Canon has had one or two. I would like to see an upgrade to the Canon D10 and stick with Canon as I like their color rendition but if the Pentax W90 is superior then that might be the way to go. What do you think? Thanks!!!

Where can I find a codec to play videos from my Vupoint solutions camera?

I recently tried to use a video camera called the Vupoint solutions DV-DM1-VP to record a video. However upon trying to upload it to my computer using windows movie maker the program said that the codec required to play the video was not found on the system is there anyway I can get this codec I tried the website but that didn’t help much. Any programs anyone would recommend for this problem.

The video format is MPEG-4, so you should be able to use WMM once you’ve got ffdshow installed and configured.

Just the name, Pentax Digital Cameras, is enough to bring a smile to many photography fans out there. In this digital era, Pentax has made its presence felt all over the world. Pentax Digital Cameras have always been synonymous with excellence both in quality and performance. Pentax’s digital technology has made its presence felt all over the world through the quality cameras they have created.

When Pentax introduced their first camera in 1952 they were hailed as innovative creators of easy to use technology. With the advent of digital technology Pentax has consistently shown that they are still a force to be rekoned with in the photography business. By producing quality, durable cameras they have provided their fans with amazing cameras that have stood the test of time. Their most prominent contribution to date has been the 35 mm SLR camera. Their dedication to the photography consumer has always been constant and it continues to grow stronger each year. Here is a look at the cameras that Pentax offers to the digital community.

During the past 80 years Pentax has created an immense number of cameras that have allowed people to capture the treasured moments of their life. Thankfully, for the children of today, there are a new set of digital Pentax cameras that will carry on their legacy. Pentax has two categories of digital cameras on the market today, the Optio Digital Cameras and the *ist Digital Cameras. To appreciate how far Pentax has come with its technology I want us to look at each of the categories.

Both new camera users and digital photo enthusiasts will enjoy the Optio Digital Cameras. Optio Digital Cameras are easy-to-use yet also include a variety of highly sophisticated and advanced features. They are user-friendly and contain loads of image-enhancing features. They are the best of both worlds, easy to use and rich in features. I am listing some detailed specifications that you can find in the Optio Digital Cameras.

These cameras are available in a range of 2.0-6.0 megapixels resolutions. These cameras have a 1/ 2.5 inch interline transfer CCD. The LCD monitor is a TFT 1.8 inch color screen with 100% LCD resolution and a resolution of about 130,000 pixels. These cameras are available in different picture modes like landscape, portrait, sports, night scene and many more. These cameras have an in-built setting for language preference from English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, French and Swedish. The computer system requirements of the system for data transfer through these cameras are a standard USB port, Windows 2000, XP, Me, 98, 98SE.

The other category of Pentax Digital Cameras is known as Pentax *ist. This category marked the second entry of the company into the market of digital SLR consumers. These cameras are available as 6.1 megapixels resolutions, an APS format sensor and 2.5 inch LCD display with 210,000 pixels resolutions. These cameras have an in-built option of ISO setting up to 3200. The storage format of these cameras also includes the RAW file format along with the JPEG and TIFF formats.

Available white balancing modes include auto, cloudy, daylight, shade, fluorescent light, tungsten light and manual setting. As you will find on most digital SLR’s the storage media is SD card. You can also check the depth of field prior to taking the photo. LCD options include slide show, digital filter and image rotation capabilities. You can also choose whether to delete a single photo or to delete all the photos. As I mentioned above, these cameras are geared more to the needs of advanced digital camera users or amateur enthusiasts.

When you are in the market for your next digital camera you certainly won’t go wrong with a Pentax.
